Five-Phase Implementation Program
The components of the Five-Phase Implementation Program are:
Phase I - Needs Analysis
Phase II - Functional Design & Architectural Layout
Phase III - Configuration
Phase IV - Training
Phase V - Quality Assurance Follow-Ups

Throughout each of these phases you will be in direct contact with the consultant assigned to your account. The length of time required for your implementation is based on the complexity of your company pay rules, the number and type of data collection terminals or programs, and the degree of complexity of your computer and network configurations. Other factors include the number and type of optional modules purchased and the number of users that need to be trained on the use of the UNITIME Automated Timekeeping System.

Phase I - Needs Analysis
Phase I will begin shortly after your purchase of UNITIME. First, you will be sent a number of documents that outline the implementation process and identify your responsibilities for preparing your site and staff for a successful implementation. You will also receive a Unitime Site Survey designed to help our technicians understand your unique pay rules and time accounting needs. A consultant from Unitime Systems will contact you to ensure you receive these documents and to answer any questions you may have regarding the implementation.

Phase II - Functional Design & Architectural Layout
Once the Site Survey has been completed and returned, a consultant assigned to your account will perform a functional analysis to identify the most effective method to deploy your UNITIME Automated Timekeeping System. The consultant will test UNITIME for compliance with the requirements identified in your Site Survey and will finalize plans for the scheduled on-site visit. Your individual training needs will also be analyzed at this point and training materials will be prepared.

Phase III - Configuration
During phase III, the Unitime implementation specialist assigned to your account will perform the on-site implementation of your UNITIME Automated Timekeeping System. The implementation specialist will set up and configure your timeclocks, establish all pay rules, install and configure any optional modules such as payroll or employee interfaces, and test the system for compliance with your needs. The consultant will strive to help you accomplish your goals and will provide suggestions on ways in which you can improve your time accounting processes and policies.

Phase IV -Training
After completely configuring and testing your UNITIME Automated Timekeeping System, your implementation specialist will train the primary UNITIME users on the daily and pay period activities that need to be performed. These users will be shown how to correct punches, schedule employees, run reports, and perform any other duties for which they will be responsible.

Your implementation specialist will also help you formulate a plan for "parallel testing" the UNITIME Automated Timekeeping System against your current time accounting package or procedures. The implementation specialist will show you how to test for accuracy in payroll processing and will help develop a timeline for going live with UNITIME. The implementation specialist will explain how to troubleshoot common problems and will offer advice on how to minimize employee resistance to the new timekeeping system. Finally, one or more users will be taught how to adjust pay rules in case company pay policies change in the future.

At the end of this phase, you will be asked to complete an implementation checklist to ensure that your UNITIME Automated Timekeeping System has been configured according to your needs and that you have been thoroughly trained on the use of the system.

Phase V - Quality Assurance Follow-Ups
Within two business days of completion of the implementation and training on your UNITIME Automated Timekeeping System, a member of the Unitime customer support team or your implementation specialist will contact you to address any issues or questions that may have arisen and to verify your satisfaction. Upon completion of the first live pay period, a member from the Unitime customer support team will again contact you to discuss any problems or issues you may have.

Remember, you are welcome to contact either your Unitime implementation specialist or any member of the Unitime customer support team at any time with issues or questions.
